About Hotel Mundatluz
The Mundatluz Hotel in Monda, Monda is a little village in the heart of the Sierra de las Nieves, Andalusia, Southern Spain, has been built respecting the relief and surrounding scenery with an octagonal floor for the lounge and a rectangle which comprises the rooms and Andalusian courtyard, all following the guidelines of Feng–shi.
Surrounded by a sea of pine trees, almond trees, olive trees and fruit trees. Ideal for those who want to combine the peace and quiet of the countryside with a day on the beach (only 12 minutes away) on the Costa del Sol.
You will be able to discover the flora and fauna of the Nieves Mountains, combining the possibilities of leisure and enjoyment with natural values, which have resulted in the UNESCO declaring it a World Biosphere Reserve.
The wooden ceilings and clay block walls, all ecological material. The water is drawn from a depth of 176 metres and has extraordinary health qualities. An ecological orchard, chickens, etc. to supply our restaurant.
Hotel Mundatluz Rooms
The Mundatluz Hotel has 14 rooms, with the names of the bushes found on the surrounding land. 12 double rooms of 20 m2, complete en–suite bathroom with hand painted ceramic tiles and cast iron bathroom fittings.
The windows in the rooms are made with Iroko wood, all with double glazed "climalit" windows, radiators, rustic stone floor, each room is distinctly decorated, and therefore each one is completely different from the other. Rondeñas, Mexicans, etc and using the most exquisite materials, making your stay an unforgettable one.
The two suites are made up of a king size bed (1.50m), a sofa bed, cherry wood furniture and cast iron fittings. One of them has a hydromassage bath, and another has been built with special measurements for the disabled, private terrace. The rooms are divided between two wings, one wing overlooking the mountains and the other the pine forest, and there are chairs available to enjoy the view.

The Mundatluz Hotel is situated in an ideal setting which combines the peace and quiet with the exciting world of the "Costa del Sol", resulting in a mixture of Sea and Mountain enjoyment, because of the nearness of the Mountains by Motorway, (an excellent road) to Marbella which is only 12 km away. By going through Coin you will find Malaga Airport only 30 minutes away and Gibraltar Airport an hour away. Malaga is only 45 minutes from us.

Our restaurant offers the visitor excellent cuisine which has been prepared with the home–grown products, where you will be able to taste the difference, providing Mediterranean and natural food.
It has been awarded a prize of singularity by the Malaga Council, for its service to customers and superb Malaga cooking.
